Meet Hannah Potts
Hannah is a dedicated speech-language pathologist originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. She earned her degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Carolina University and went on to receive her master's degree from East Tennessee State University. Drawn to the mountains during her studies, Hannah developed a lifelong love for the outdoors and the adventure and calm that it brings.
Hannah is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in both North and South Carolina. She brings experience working with a wide range of populations, including early intervention, school-aged children, adults, and geriatrics. During graduate school, she completed a clinical rotation at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, where she worked with veterans dealing with complex medical cases.
For the past six years, Hannah has specialized in pediatric home health in the Charleston, South Carolina area, where she relocated after getting married. She has supported children with a wide range of speech and language needs, including receptive and expressive language delays, articulation, auditory processing, autism, executive functioning, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, and fluency disorders. During this time, Hannah collaborated with Spanish and Portuguese interpreters, strengthening her cultural competence and ability to serve diverse populations.
Hannah is passionate about helping children develop confident, functional communication skills that extend beyond the therapy setting. She uses play-based, engaging approaches tailored to each child's unique strengths and interests to keep learning meaningful and motivating. She values a family-centered approach and works closely with caregivers to provide practical strategies that can be easily incorporated into daily routines, supporting lasting progress. Hannah strives to create a supportive, encouraging environment where every child feels successful and every family feels heard.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband and her two young boys, often exploring the mountains and the beach together.
