Meet Laura Reisler
With a career spanning over four decades, Laura is a passionate and highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who has dedicated her life to helping children find their voices, one word at a time. Specializing in pediatric speech and language development, she has worked with children as young as 18 months through adolescence and beyond, supporting a wide range of speech, language, and reading challenges, including language delays, articulation and oral motor deficits, stuttering, and literacy difficulties.
In addition to her work in private practice, she has brought her expertise to public and private school settings. Throughout her career, she has emphasized a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach, working closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, administrators, and families to create holistic and individualized care plans.
Earlier in her career, she held dual roles as both a staff therapist and department supervisor across several clinical and educational settings. In these positions, she provided direct therapy, conducted comprehensive evaluations, and led in-service training for fellow professionals. She was also recognized for developing innovative home-based therapy programs and for her commitment to interdisciplinary, team-based approaches in supporting children with complex needs.
Whether guiding toddlers through their first sounds or supporting school-age children with literacy and language goals, Laura brings patience, expertise, and an unwavering belief in every child's potential. Her warmth, dedication, and decades of hands-on experience make her a true pillar in the field of pediatric speech-language pathology.
